MuxLab has expanded its selection of matrix switches to include three new models that support resolutions up to 4K/60 with HDBaseT functionality. Each matrix shown at ISE 2017 is compatible with all HDMI devices, offering cross-point routing in any combination.
The HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switch, 4K/60 4:4:4 (500444) links four sources to four displays. Independent EDID control ensures a flawless signal transmission. Full routing of any source to any or all displays is controlled by IR remote, RS-232, Telnet or front panel buttons.
"This new 4x4 Matrix is a next generation solution that provides true 4K quality with absolutely no picture loss or delay," says MuxLab President, Daniel Assaraf. "Commercial and residential AV systems, classroom projector systems, digital signage, boardrooms, collaborative PC systems, and medical information systems would all benefit from using this type of matrix system."
The HDMI 4x4 Matrix Switch Kit, HDBT, PoC, 4K/60 4:2:0 (500412) offers the same features, with the added ability to support HDBaseT transmission with power, and may also be managed by a web interface. Separate receivers are included with full 4K/60 support.
"The new HDMI to HDMI matrix switch units being released at ISE, models 500443 (8x8 ports) and 500444 (4x4 ports), the bandwidth is 594 MHz. These units support 4K/60 (4:4:4) video resolution, and a bit depth of 8, 10 and 12 bits", Joe Teixeira, Director Product & Project Management at Muxlab added.
The HDMI 8x8 Matrix Switch, 4K/60 4:4:4 (500443) provides an expanded option for 4K matrix switching, supporting up to eight sources and eight displays. Independent port scaling of displays with different resolutions makes this matrix excel. This ability provides simultaneous access to displays that support different resolutions in the same installation. Any source is accessible at all times by any display via IR remote, RS-232, Telnet or front panel buttons.
