“It is really exciting to be back to ISE 2016 with a completely new booth to demonstrate the integrated range of solutions Sony has developed through working hand-in-hand with our partners, vendors and clients around the world. Sony´s brand-new and immersive stand will enable visitors to better experience the impact of our industry leading AV solutions,” said Damien Weissenburger, Business Head of Corporate & Education Solutions, Sony Professional Europe.
In Corporate Solutions, visitors will get the opportunity to experience how Sony’s audio visual and collaborative solutions can transform your working environment into a more interactive, creative place to do business, from the smallest breakout rooms to large boardrooms, auditoriums and common areas.
Education Solutions will take visitors through an immersive journey, showing them how creative and interactive learning spaces are opening up new possibilities for education. Whether talking about classrooms, lecture theatres, common areas or training studios, Sony is improving student engagement and productivity, encouraging faster learning and facilitating greater collaboration among groups through its latest advances in information technology.
Sony is also launching an ultra short throw lens for its LASER-Phosphor 3LCD installation projectors, adding interaction to the mix. The 0.33:1 Ultra Short Throw projection lens brings great pictures even closer. If you want to create bigger images, lens shift and image surface adjustments allow precise fine-tuning of super-size edge blended pictures from multiple projectors.
The new VPLL-3003 Ultra Short Throw Lens option for F-Series 3LCD projectors gives extra flexibility in positioning the projector up close up to a wall or screen. It’s great for public spaces like museums and galleries, where you don’t want visitors casting shadows on the projected image. The VPLL-3003 will be in action on Stand 1-H120.
Public spaces like galleries and museums – and corporate environments where space is tight – put extra constraints on AV installations. It’s often desirable to locate the projector as close as possible to the screen or wall, avoiding problems with the projector beam being interrupted by people in the room.
Fitting all our F-series projector models, the optional VPLL-3003 Ultra Short Throw Lens offers the benefits of high-impact 3LCD projection for applications that need extra flexibility in placing the projector.
You can see the VPLL-3003 lens in action at ISE 2016, teamed with three VPL-FHZ65 3LCD laser projectors and Vision Presenter to create a dynamic multimedia presentation solution.
With the lens fitted, a throw ratio of just 0.33 allows the projector to be sited immediately adjacent to the screen or wall without requiring any clearance. It can be positioned either on the floor or suspended from the ceiling (requires optional mount). Either way, your audience can enjoy big, beautiful images from 80” to an enormous 300” across. The lens features a large, high quality mirror, ensuring that projected images are crystal clear, sharply focused and free of distortion.
