CALABASAS, Calif., March 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DTS, a global leader in high-definition audio solutions and wholly owned subsidiary of Xperi Corporation (Nasdaq: XPER) (the "Company" or "Xperi"), will showcase its hybrid radio solution, Connected Radio, at RadioDays Europe, March 19-21 in Amsterdam. Demos and interviews with company executives will be available at Stand 25 in the Rai Convention Centre.
This year marks DTS' first exhibition at RadioDays Europe since acquiring All In Media, a global leader in radio station broadcast systems and app development. Together, both companies will be demonstrating the latest in radio station app development as well as displaying live over-the-air data broadcast from DAB+ stations in Amsterdam. The DTS Connected Radio platform supports global radio solutions and standards, such as RadioDNS, and will showcase NPO's 3FM national radio station through the support of Pluxbox Radio Manager.
"We are excited to be demonstrating our hybrid radio solution, DTS Connected Radio, with DAB+ integration for the first time in Europe," said Jeff Jury, general manager, radio and automotive at DTS. "The DTS Connected Radio solution provides a global ecosystem for broadcasters and receiver manufacturers, leveraging metadata from a wide range of sources to deliver a uniform in-vehicle broadcast experience. We have worked closely with broadcasters and technology partners to deliver the first hybrid radio platform with rich, dynamic services on a global basis. Our solution puts broadcasters firmly in control of their listeners' hybrid radio experience."
