Christie Brings the Full Range to Light Up Prolight 2017: From Pandoras Box V6 to the Brightest Displays
At this year's Prolight+Sound the entertainment industries can see an extensive showcase from Christie including a product launch, award-winners and varied portfolio, including large format projection, new generation laser-phosphor projectors, indoor-LED modules and LCD Displays.

Forever a Winner: Pandoras Box and Widget Designer 6
Version 6 of the real-time video processing and show control Software, Pandoras Box, as well as the automation tool Widget Designer recently won the InAVation Award 2017, garnering many public votes with its even more simplified handling of the powerful software.
The new version 6 speeds up processes from programming and show preparation to managing the live event. If content needs amending - during a rehearsal for example - the multi-user mode of Pandoras Box permits changes to be made by a second operator without disturbing the workflow. The new HTML5 programming of the Widget Designer allows the simple control via mobile devices like handhelds, smartphone or tablet PC.

To complement the more intuitive and user-focused Pandoras Box Version 6 software, we've updated the hardware in the Pandoras Box portfolio, so it now benefits from faster processing power, more memory and expanded storage. Launching at Prolight+Sound, The OCTO Server can control up to eight displays via one single server to meet even the most demanding event challenges.
Christie Boxer 4K30 and Pandoras Box 6 is a Perfect Match
Christie will once again be showing how its high performance 4K 3DLP projector, the Christie Boxer 4K30, driven by Christie Pandoras Box, are a perfect match - offering simple installation and operation yet creative results. With 30.000 Lumen each, four Boxer 4K30s will play back brilliant and pin-sharp 4K content. The integrated High Bandwidth Multi-Input Card (HBMIC) and Christie Link allow a fast transmission of 4K/60hz signals via one single cable.
Christie Laser Phosphor Projectors
Christie will also be showing different models of their latest generation of laser-phosphor projectors. Depending on application, users can choose between models and a range of lenses, resolutions and brightness levels. The GS Series comes with a choice of zoom lenses and a UST lens; meanwhile, the Christie D13HD-HS is, with 13.000 lumens, the most powerful 1DLP laser phosphor projector, with excellent colour accuracy and colour saturation thanks to BoldColor Technology.
Christie direct view LED walls and LCD Displays
Visitors can also see LED walls using Christie Merit Series (1:1 aspect ratio) and LED from the Christie Apex Series in 16:9 format. Designed for 24/7 applications, Christie LED modules are easy to install and operate and provide brilliant colours, brightness and the finest resolutions, from 1.2mm up to 4mm pixel pitch. Christie pro-AV solutions always seek to offer the right product for the right application, and to round off the choice of displays is a choice ofChristie LCD screens. The 49 inch Christie FHD492-XV offers HD resolution ) and the Christie FHQ981-L with UHD (3840 x 2160) has an image size of 98". Visitors can also see the FHD553-XE-H; this 55 inch screen is part of the new Christie® Extreme Series which are high-performance LCD panels with an extremely narrow 1.7mm combined bezel width so can be used to create impressive, near-seamless video walls.
