Verimatrix Expands Concept of Revenue Security to Accommodate Evolving Market Landscape at NAB 2017
Revenue Security Specialist Will Feature Latest Offerings in Security and Data Analytics; Speak on Current IP, UHD and IoT Transitions and Security Implications; and Unveil New Brand Campaign
LAS VEGAS, April 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- NAB Show 2017 - (Booth #SU3116) – Verimatrix, the specialist in securing and enhancing revenue for multi-network, multi-screen digital TV services around the globe, is extending the flexibility of revenue security to meet the evolving technical needs and business models of progressive service providers at NAB 2017. During the show, the company will introduce new offerings for service providers to improve their connected security platforms. Attendees will also be introduced to a new brand program, "The Future of Connected Security," which illustrates how Verimatrix is leveraging its depth of experience in IP- and software-based security to protect and monetize next-generation services.
"We've been talking about the changing technical and business landscape for next-generation service providers and the associated security implications," said Tom Munro, CEO of Verimatrix. "We have always been focused on providing technology that is agile enough to support service providers as they navigate industry transitions and create new competitive advantages. Our expanded offerings and presence at NAB reinforce this position as operators redefine their security strategies."
During the event, the company will introduce a range of user-specific forensic video watermarking solutions to fit different distribution scenarios. The award-winning and patented VideoMark® solution will be available as a standalone client-side watermarking option that enables maximum flexibility for operators to build their multi-layered security platforms for all types of premium content services. Additionally, the company is offering its patented StreamMark™ solution to provide watermarking within a server-side architecture, including for adaptive bitrate (ABR) streaming service delivery. It is inherently DRM-agnostic and has been integrated with leading encoder and CDN components.
Expanding its range of integrated commercial options, Verimatrix will also be announcing the MultiRights™ OTT Plus solution, enabling content owners and aggregators to combine revenue security and analytics that are essential to delivering and monetizing premium OTT video experiences. The solution will be available at a range of attractive price points—on a subscription basis and with physical and cloud-based deployment options.
One of the showcase demonstrations will be Verspective™ Operator Analytics, highlighting how the robust, end-to-end solution for secure analytics can be fully customized to each operator's needs. With the number of customer engagements growing, the company will be highlighting a richer range of reporting options now available in the analytics portal, including the following:
Real-time client module – displays key performance indicators (KPIs) at the device level that measures audience engagement, such as start time, channel change and buffering, along with channel and video-on-demand (VOD) title popularity in near real time.
Subscriber quality of experience (QoE) module – reports on the fine-grained QoE playback functions from the subscriber's point of view.
VOD insights module – analyzes VOD consumption, asset performance and revenue performance with reporting features geared towards studios, networks and broadcasters.
The quick-start evaluation program for Verspective Operator Analytics has been well received by operators, which helps them better understand how to securely and rapidly collate data from various sources and demonstrate the benefits of actionable analytics across multiple departments in their organization.
