Demand is high high for Ultra HD Blu-ray-Disc's with upto 100 Gigabyte capacity, and growing says Sonopress, a German disc printer, that is part of the giant Bertelsman publishing and media conglomerate. It has therefore added a second UHD-100-Machine.
It has produced five million copies of UHD Blu-ray's in about a year and a half. The company's Managing Director Sven Deutschmann, never imagined such demand among his clients when production started. "The demand from our clients is now so strong that it was an easy decision to invest in the capacity increase". Sonopress produces UHD Blu-ray and Blu-rays discs for a roster of German and international clients including Warner Bros., Universal Pictures International, and German distributors Concord Home Entertainment and Highlight Constantin.
