With a new driver that supports WDDM 2.3, Windows 10 Fall Creators Updates display interface. This interface allows for 10 bit HDR. It also enhances play-out to wide colour gamut monitors. And enhances X12 processing. The new graphics driver for PCs using Intels 7th and 8th generation iCore and derived CPU's that use at least the R620 graphics core. Intel Graphics driver 15.60, enables playback of 10 Bit HDR 10 video, but to date no HLG or the dynamic metadata variants from Dolby (Dolby Vision), Samsung (HDR 10+), or Technicolor. It also addresses mixed reality head-sets.
