Show organisers expect the ISE 2019: The home of system integration, trade show to be held in Amsterdam 5-8 February 2019, to attract over 1,300 exhibitors and 80,000 attendees, making it the biggest ISE so far.
For the 2019 show ISE is launching a new feature: 'XR Technology at the Okura hotel'. This initiative will combine a daily mix of conferences, experiences, networking events and an exhibition showcasing the latest in augmented, virtual and mixed reality technologies and solutions. This new addition is said to appeal to ISE’s channel attendees and to end users working in vertical market sectors. "‘XR’ is quickly becoming part of our day-to-day business life and creating a range of exciting opportunities", according to ISE Organisers.
ISE is moving to Barcelona in 2021 due to insufficient floorspace, but the Rai's conference facilities are not fully utillised, so why the need to have people walk one kilometer to and from the Okura. Fortunately ISE thought about this and says it will run Shuttle busses throughout the show between the two venues.
The XR at the Okura initiative is targeting ISE ‘channel attendees’ and ‘end users’ from such sectors such as healthcare, finance, education, entertainment and corporate. Attendees have the opportunity to learn about the latest XR products and services and the revolutionary impact they can have on their businesses.
Over four days, XR at the Okura, will not only host an XR Exhibition, the XR Summit, and XR Experience Hub, but also the TIDE Conference, blooloopLIVE, and new to the event a Digital Cinema Summit. The last DCi projector at ISE was seen well over a decade ago. At the hotel there will be a Daily Networking Reception.
A dedicated exhibition area will showcase the latest in Virtual, Augmented and Mixed reality technologies and solutions. The Experience Hub is a dedicated show floor space that will feature innovative case studies and creative presentations on the latest XR strategies from leading XR thought leaders and evangelists.
Each day there will be a half-day or full day conference at the Okura, starting with XR Summit on Tuesday, The full program:
