Stanford graduate led start-up Royole Corporation will be demonstrating its fully flexible displays. At the show in Berlin, IFA 2018 August 31 through September 5. Royole will also show 'first-of-its-kind' wearables integration in a top hat and ski jacket.
'Royole is the only company in the world mass producing fully flexible displays, and will exceed 50-million units per year at full capacity'' ommiting at what utilisation rate it is running, how many displays, or what surface area it is actually producing. The company states it has a massive 1.1-million-square-foot quasi-G6 mass-production campus in Shenzhen, China, a 100% self-designed, R&D and manufacturing facility with a total investment of around $1.7B, a serious facility.
Royole describes itself as 'a leading innovator and manufacturer of next-generation human-machine interface technologies and products including advanced flexible displays, flexible sensors, and smart devices'.
