Panasonic's Visual Museum will also re-visit the Rai for ISE. Visit the digital museum and become part of the exhibition! For many visitors, this was one of the most memorable experiences of ISE 2019. If you missed it, here's your chance to experience the most interactive real-time digital museum exhibit. By combining Panasonic's laser projectors with the world's first zero offset Ultra Short Throw lens with zoom and shift and high-end 4K displays we have developed a stunning interactive installation using wall and floor projection to create a truly immersive, unforgettable experience.
Ahead of the show Panasonic has introduced the new optical fibre input board for Slot-NX projectors. The ET-MDNFB10 optical fibre input board for Slot-NX projectors is a direct optical fibre connection which can reach up to 10km (6.2 miles) for a 4K signal and eliminates the need for an optical fibre to SDI conversion box sitting alongside the projector.
The board is based on SFP+ (Small Form Factor Pluggable) specification, which is a standard for optical transceivers that can be plugged into devices. The '+' denotes that this is the second generation of SFP with extended bandwidth of 16GB. The MNDFB10 board provides SFP+ compatible slots for SFP+ modules.
The ET-MDNFB10 optical fibre input board is compatible with HD-SDI, SG-SDI, 6G-SDI, 12G-SDI and with a cascade connection it enables transmission of 4K signals into 2x2 layout.
With a firmware upgrade this input board will be compatible with the following projectors:
PT-RQ22K/PT-RZ21K – January 2020
PT-RQ50K – March 2020
PT-RCQ10/PT-RCQ80 – March 2020
PT-RQ32K – April 2020
With these technologies, Panasonic has created a breakthrough in the next level of entertainment and you can get an exclusive hands-on experience of this breath-taking spectacle. Don't miss it!
