Optoma, last year announced it was to be the first to market entry with both TI XPR Technology based 4K projector the DLP with pixel shifting technology developed by Texas Instrument, and Philips HLD LED solid state lightsource. This was demonstrated last year at CES and subsequently at ISE 2016 in Amsterdam. However the Q3 became Q4 and even now the machine has yet to appear. At CES instead there now is an Ultra Shorth Throw projector the Optoma 4K UST with laser-phosphor light source first announced at Infocomm this summer, but at double the highest price indicated for the HLD, high-lumen-density LED, projector. It lists at $20K versus the 7-10K€/$ for the LED with conversion rods projector.
And there is a much cheaper lamp based XPR 4K DLP projector, the UHD60. The Optoma UHD60 will still be the first affordable 4K DLP projector to market, scheduled for availability in the second quarter. At a much lower price as every developer seems to have hit delays. The Optoma UHD60 projector delivers true 4K UHD for the ultimate in image quality. This 3,840 x 2,160 resolution home cinema projector with vertical lens shift will be available for just $2,799 in Q2 2017. A quarter ahead of the Vivitek by that other large projectro ODM Delta Electronics, and priced $200 less.
Remarkably there was also a lamp-based version at ISE that Optoma representatives expected could fetch more than the HLD projector, as it had a higher lumens spec. Though the 3500 lumens on paper did not make any practical difference, crazy numbers upt 13K Euro were uttered, at the ISE show, last February. Of course this UHD 60 will undoubtedly offer a smaller lamp, with less output, it is more realistic in what consumers are willing to pay for this type of projector.

With 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 wide color gamut, and an ultra short throw of just 0.18 for up to a 140-inch image size from just inches away, an incredible cinematic experience awaits. With an estimated price of $19,999, it will lead the market in quality and affordability in the premium home theater space. This projector will be available in Q3 2017.
Optoma UHD60: For home theater aficionados, the Optoma UHD60 projector delivers true 4K UHD for the ultimate in image quality. This 3,840 x 2,160 resolution home cinema projector with vertical lens shift will be available for just $2,799 in Q2 2017.
Optoma ZH55: The 1080p Optoma ZH55 laser projector delivers stellar images and the ultimate in reliability. This high definition laser phosphor projector features 3,000 lumens of brightness, 20,000:1 contrast ratio, Rec. 709 color and HDR wide color gamut, and dual HDMI ports with MHL. The installation-friendly ZH55 has a throw ratio of 1.06 along with a zoom of 1.36x. Availability and pricing to be confirmed at a later date. At Infocomm Optoma launched the business version the ZU510T-W.
Optoma IntelliGo: While the "Pico" market has been limited by lower brightness levels in the past, the Optoma IntelliGo delivers a sharp, bright image in a highly portable package. Built with mainstream consumer needs in mind an Android 4.4 OS with a customizable home screen and the AptoideTV app store with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora and more. In addition, it is WiFi and Bluetooth compatible, has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, and offers 2D to 3D content conversion. It will be available in late Q1 2017 for just $599.

It will be available Q1 for $699.

it is most likely we will see the Optoma HLD LED 4K resurface, as Optoma parent Coretronic has started offering it as the D100 Platform. Like the
