BenQ at ISE 2017 in Amsterdam, 7th – 10th February 2017 Stand Number: 5-U24 in Hall 5, shows off two 4K DLP projectors using the TI XPR Technology pixelshifting and many more Visual Display Solutions. Besides the X1200 Home Theater projector using the Philips HLD LED light source, there will also be the LK970 UHD 4K Laser Projector, BenQ’s new projector with 5000 ANSI Lumens. We will have to see if this is the new type of LASER-Phosphor light engine we were told at IBC BenQ has under development. The 8K Lumens prototype offered almost as good Holographic image as the 20K lumens Panasonics used at IBC, according to the Holographic demonstrator at IBC, held in the same Venue, last September.
The LU9715 BlueCore Laser Projector offers 360˚ and vertical projection enabled by laser light for creative image blending and superior colour in large venues.
Projectors, especially the Home Theater projectors like the new $/€7K X12000, are not the bread and butter for large imaging and display company's not even 'the world's biggest DLP Brand', as explained by Pete Wang, President of BenQ Europe:

Offering a one-stop solution for the retail sector, BenQ will display its new UHD 4K laser projector and recently launched LU9715 BlueCore Laser Projector that enables 360° and vertical projection specifically designed to catch people’s attention. Also on show will be the new smart X-Sign content management software, Skyrec Smart Data Analysis system, BenQ’s ultra thin bezel video wall solution and long bar-type display signage.
Of course this 5K lumens could be used for video, not just digital signage.
Established wireless plug-and-play presentation solution, InstaShow will be part of BenQ’s drive to create more efficient corporate meetings alongside its interactive flat screen panels (IFPs), projectors, EZWrite 3.0 and NFCPen annotation tools. Google Jamboard will also be on display for invited guests only.
