“Vivitek kicks off 2017 by raising the bar with respect to Laser Ultra Short Throw projector performance and flexibility. These new models answer the need for projectors that are ideally suited for complex environments without compromising image quality, feature set or durability”, commented Holger Graeff, General Manager Vivitek EMEA on the introduction of the two smaller Laser-phosphor projectors Vivitek will bring to Amsterdam next month, the DH765Z-UST and the DW763Z-UST.
Vivitek will also launch the DK8500Z 4K laser projector, suitable for large venue applications. The DK8500Z offers exceptional picture clarity with a 4K pixel detail and 7500 lumen brightness. It is designed for easy installation with motorized interchangeable lens options and 360° degree installation flexibility. Maintenance is of no concern thanks to a laser light source that provides up to 20,000 hours of operation.
The DU8190Z is the extension to the single DMD WUXGA laser light source projector projector range launched at ISE 2016, that started with the 8K lumens a prototype was first shown during 2015, and followed by 6K lumens and 5000 lumens projectors.
The DU8190Z offers up to 20,000 hours of operation time in addition to an amazing 10,000 ANSI Lumens brightness., however the warrantee is limited to 10000 hours or three years, which ever comes first.
With built-in edge-blending, warping and portrait mode projection with 360 degrees, the DU8190Z is a truly versatile projector, designed for different applications. Easy to set up and install, the projector has a wide range of interchangeable lenses, motorized focus, horizontal and vertical lens shift and 10 predefined lens positions, which are registered in the Lens Position Memory.
Vivitek is also introducing the DH765Z-UST and the DW763Z-UST, the vendor's latest Laser Ultra Show Throw projectors. Capable of being installed in places that would prove challenging for conventional projectors, the two new devices blend Vivitek’s advanced technology, durability and value for money to create visual solutions as compelling as they are flexible.
Their ultra-short throw projector design with embedded reflective mirror allows for a projection size of 80” to 150” diagonal image from a mere 40cm away from the screen, an extremely close distance to the projection surface. Thanks to this design, the projector set up will prevent light glare in the presenter’s eyes as well as creating a shadow-free image while standing close to the screen. With the DH765Z-UST, users can enjoy FullHD 1080p, while the DW763Z-UST delivers WXGA resolution. Both models offer an advanced laser phosphor light engine for superior brightness and colour uniformity and high 3,500 ANSI lumens of brightness with a crisp 12,000:1 contrast ratio.
Engineered for durability and longevity, the models feature a sealed optical engine and an enhanced ventilation system that’s designed to minimize the impact of dust, ensuring years of trouble-free and reliable performance.
In terms of set up, the manual zoom and focus provide both easy adjustment and positioning flexibility. They are flexible too, with a wide array of connectivity options, including two HDMI, component, composite video, s-video and VGA-in/out, while the embedded 10W audio speaker and multiple audio-in and audio-out ports provide plenty of options for external device connection.
The models also offer full 3D functionality support and are network ready for integration, monitoring and management via RJ45. Meanwhile, anti-theft security features include a Kensington® security slot and a PIN lock keypad to ensure that these desirable solutions remain in place.
The DH765Z-UST and DW763Z-UST will be available in Q2 2017, with a list price of respectively EUR 2,499 and EUR 2,199 excl. VAT. No pricing or date of availability is provided for the larger projectors.
Vivitek will introduce Europe to one interesting lamp projector in Amsterdam the $3000.-, 4K DLP Home Theater projector HK2288.
