Are they shipping yet? The integrated LUT function, makes it stand out from the other LGD 55", 65". Most affordable (HDMI) LUT boxes are HD only. I did see an 4K model prototype announcement recently, but the shipping product was only HD/2K. Fortunately that one allowed for stacking two LUT boxes to do 4K.

This is the Panasonic UHD 4k blu-ray player. The tone mapping feature now works for UHD titles as well as the new addition of both high and low gamma.

Lumagen is just now launching their tone mapping also in their pro series video processors. It was in testing for months and now being released.

Looks like we now have more then a few options to address clipping with HDR.

The new Panasonic OLED for this year will have a built-in LUT box. Was confused with the model numbers. Panasonic has lost much of its visibility, after it dropped plasma. The second genertaion OLED took a relativelong time to launch following the initial limited distrobution 10K curved 65.I think LGD is now three generations further in shipping product. So, the new one with LUT box is interesting for CI and Post community, with its 'Hollywood certification'.

Not 100% sure I understand it right are this new software offers standard high and low or just high and low Gamma?

Mayer they added a global setting for two new separate gamma settings one for high gamma and one for Low gamma. The HDR tone mapping now works with HDR UHD titles.

Internal LUT box is nice. To further add to this hopefully there is no  ABL and ASBL cercuits in the set. Makes sense for POST houses.
