We will post shop drawings and plan to replace (add on) slightly worn out Dynaudio confidence with custom Questeds. In addition we will investigate a Laser 4k upgrade both DCI RGB and phosphor variety.

Two important news for the datasat: auro is out and it is considered Outstanding better than 7.1 auro can be applied to cinema content too. But Home Atmos is also coming out, yet the most exciting is compatibility with new d-box controller ( i will post this weekend my 1 million $ datasat/d-box/ dci discovery).

Tomorrow we will be visiting to upgrade firmware and time align and show Mike Smith of Datasat for immersive audio future upgrade planning.

Datasat has to be the best surround company in the world. No wonder Imax, and Barco use them.

Who knows If we finishh early we may pop up at Skoll and pop it's cherry with a dirac calibration.

The bass always have been sloppy and laconic, but he pressure in the room sinks the middle of the room like in a time delay fashion, if you notice the target base line was hitting 200 and then he slid it back to like the 155-160 region, this fixed what all along even the top acousticians thought was a condition of the 90 year old wooden mansion. Well Mike tighten that bass and time aligned it dead on where it sounds like a top room.

Also tightly packing the mics around one seat made a huge difference not only in that seat but the general mlp area, when those of you upgrade to dirac 2 I recommend setting a memory for just one seat.

More Detail to come with actual plots that surprised me how nice the room design works with the speakers.

At that time I was focusing on DCI Projection but apparently I had the skils to do great acoustics and select/site great speakers to where:

Those curves not only attest to the flexibility with which dynaudio confidence series sounds good no matter where placed, but as to how well they age, 7.5 years of breaking in , like wine they got better, those plots from the MLP don't lie.

And to think in 2007 people only respected my projector skills. ...
