All,
This my first post on your wonderful forum. I recently acquired a Digital Projection Inc (DPI) Highlite 10000K HD and I'm using it at home on a 16 foot wide screen. This is my second DPI projection in my stable. I also have a DPI Mercury HD 720p 3 Chip DLP in another room. I like the older DPI projector because I can get the for a reasonable price and the truly do make a beautiful picture when using bluray as the source.
I have a question about my DPI HL10000K HD. After some research on the internet, I've come to the conclusion the projector was based off of the NEC IS8-2K, does this mean my projector is considered a DCI cinema projector or is the more church, small venue, etc projector. I know my DVI and SDI ports do not have HDCP, which brings up another question, is there any way to add HDCP or would this have to be implemented DVI module.
Thanks for any help
Andre
