The anti-moire screen? Iasked the lady why? Two years ago, doesn't the SiliconCore come with its own anti-moiré coating. At ISE 2017 the was only a small demo, if i remember correctly, so hard to see any seams or lines. A Polish LED vendor told me he provided a similar screen in front of his wall to one his German TV studio clients.

And can Stewart provide a screen below 1.2 mm? These new leds are 50x30 micron, or 50 thousands of a milimeter.

I was talking with Kinoton since some 6 months to visit Samsung in Germany to see live  "The Micro LED Wall " there.

I had request that I can bring some UHD Disc with me to pay them back as I do not like to rate the picture quality just from some selected material that was possible made specially for this display.
Often this content was produced that you cannot see the disadvantages this display have as they cut it fast there where to many motion to not see gabs panels or reflections.

So I was shocked to hear today that Samsung in Germany cannot playback with The Wall UHD Disc at all!!!

Unbelievable but as this was the information I told them that I have not any more interest to see it.

Are there really customers out that are so stupid to purchase a + 300K Euro small screen without see it with normally content like a UHD 4K Disc?

Or may they don’t like to see me as I report possible about thinks that other people are not seeing?

So it doesn't have an HDMI 2.0a/b input yet.Is that part of the 60K premium for the Luxury version? At ISE the Korean VP was interested in what inputs would be required, like DCi or other secure options. Even for a commercial install HDCP 2.2 would often be of interest. Otherwise I would do a considerably less expensive RGB LED wall. Or even an LCD Wall.

The standard cinema samsung uses a gdc server, i believe it has hdmi 1.4. But it may not support 4k UHD.  You could use a hdfury to try force UHD like I have done at Samsung Corporate with the LED regular screens.

Samsung is trying to work with dolby and other ims vendors besides GDC but for now it is GDC.

Peter the Onyx or CinemaLED as it was called earlier, is something different from The Wall. Please don't conflate/confuse these two. I know you know the difference, but above you did address the CinemaLED in response to a reported issue with The Wall.

As for GDC the SR-1000 does have 'HDMI 2.0 x 1 (alternative content input)', so I presume the Samsung Onyx with GDC mediablock/server does have an hdmi input. Apparantly the demo unit of the wall in Germany does not.

'No need for electronics in bezel, so no need for bezels'. But in the article Samsung does not say it will eliminate bezels. Uhm the only electronics in bezels is the leds shining in to the lightguide. So with FALD or mini-led backlights there is no need for bezels at the moment.
