DPI 8k HDR - Most decent projected image at Infocomm 19.

The walls were the highlight of Infocomm, most projectors are shown in ALR screens and nothing was halfway decent, panasonic, epson, optoma.


The material show inside the 8k HDR both did look surprisingly decent, so with a caveat because no one knows how the enhanced cr. works on this machine with movies, here are some shots.

Peter where does it say anything about enhanced contrast? The posters pictured above do not. Previous demonstrations have been of the regular 25K and now 30K lumens versions. Specified contrast 2000:1 and that showed. Initially there was also a lot of noise in the image, so good to hear that has improved. ISE demo's and from what I have seen also the I/ITSEC demo's where in open booths, not a darkended section like above.

The HLD Projector (aside from looking dim) didn't look right either? How do you rate the Barco implementation? Was Norxe there? I just read that they won the case against Barco.

i thought the press release stated like 25k-1 cr. The walls were the stars at infocomm 19.
