The new 6P flagship laser projector will be shown for the first time at the event in a dedicated theater on booth #1310. By harnessing direct laser technology (not to be confused with laser phosphor technology found in consumer products, according to a Barco statement, however Barco has a very clear strategy for LASER-Phosphor in Cinemas at lower pricepoints and partially lower brightness than its flagship 4K 3P/6P RGB LASER projectors), it delivers superior image quality, increased contrast ratios, and vivid colors for a radically improved movie experience that’s unmatched in the industry. Barco’s 4K laser projectors are the first in the world to show 4K content at 60fps and 3D movies in full 4K resolution at exceptional brightness levels, the company claims.

Experience home cinema at its finest
At CEDIA EXPO in Booth #1310, the showpiece will be the dedicated theater featuring the 4K 6P laser projector, coupled with an Auro 11.1 immersive sound system. DLP Cinema technology and DCI compliance ensure superior image quality and consistency. Featuring unique DCI content, this demonstration will deliver the ultimate home cinema experience on this year’s show floor.
Visitors can also see Barco’s residential projectors in action at booths hosted by Stewart Filmscreen (#3710), Screen Innovations (#5735), and Auro Technologies (Sound Room 17).

Featuring large custom designed, high-resolution screens, individuals can work with multiple content sources and freely arrange them on screen. The intuitive user interface integrates seamlessly with professional video conferencing tools or can be connected wirelessly via the Barco ClickShare presentation system.
