First shown at last year's show as a prototype, Vivitek will be showing its first LASER Phosphor projector the WUXGA DU8090Z at ISE, Feb. 9-12, in Amsterdam. At eight thousand lumens it is a fairly powerfull projector, on the small screen used to demo it last year it was almost too bright. It therefor will not be a low cost projector Vivitek's EMEA General Manager Holger Graeff, a year ahead of the commercial launch, only wanted to provide a very wide range of between €10K and €20K, adding that one can't make it for less and he was expecting it to end up at the higher end of this range. Another example of Viviteks rise from a budget and low cost projector brand expanding its product offering upwards, following last year's launch of the DU9000 a dual lamp 12K lumens large venue projector listing for around 15K. Backed by parent company Delta Electronics one of the leading OEM/ODM DLP manufacturers, that has been providing all kinds of DLP projectors, aswell as other visualisation products, for years including high-end '3 chippers'.
The Vivitek DU8090Z laser projector is the latest in a series of high performance large venue projectors designed to deliver top performance. The Vivitek DU8090Z projector is powered by an advanced solid state RGB laser phosphor light source for an amazing brightness of 8,000 ANSI Lumens in WUXGA resolution with superb colour accuracy, reliable projection and outstanding durability. It offers bright, powerful projections with 360 degrees positioning flexibility while combining long-lasting performance and virtually zero-maintenance.
Vivitek will also show wireless colaboration and its Digital Signage solution. NovoPRO cuts out the cable from the meeting room and allows for multiple participants to share and interact wirelessly to the projector.
NovoPRO is designed to solve an existing problem; that is enabling people to connect more quickly and interact centrally on the main screen, while still using their individual digital devices. With NovoPRO, there’s no more huddling behind someone’s iPad because they could not connect to the projector.
