First previewed at ISE in Amsterdam last February, Gefen is launching its EXT-UHD600 line of 4K 600 MHz switching at InfoComm next month. Offering full resolution 4K 4:4:4 4K@60 FPS and 10 Bit video processing. This HDCP 2.2-compliant family of products takes HDMI 2.0 to its highest specification of 4K 60 Hz at 4:4:4 colour-space, along with HDR (High Dynamic Range) support. The 600 line consists of a splitter, a 4x1 switch and a 4x4 matrix all come in single rack unit height boxes. They may be cascaded to offer larger switching capacity. They feature flexible control options including the front-panel, IR, RS-232, Telnet/UDP, and Gefen's web server interface, aswell as Gefen locking HDMI cables for secure connections.
