When Mike Babb told me these were stocky he was not kidding! They are as wide as a cp-4250, and about 11 inches shorter, but what appears as a pedestal looking section about 9 inches extending  under the lens is part of the projector and not the base.

These projectors can be had next year without DCI as single 3p units, with hdmi 2.1 specifications for about 230k. The blacks as shown in the Chtristie Innovation Theater at NAB 2016 a looped presentation narrated by Don Shaw the Chief Innovation Officer at Christie and a friend had Break your Neck in the Dark Black levels not only on HDR contentent of the Martian but ON SDR 1080p content that klooked quite frankly superb.

By taking advantage of the deep-proscenium encased shadowbox, even the room is not black a high room cr. is maintained.
