Projection Globe specialist Pufferfish is implementing the new P1 LED projector from Norxe a new projector company founded by Projection Design founder Jorn Eriksen, that sold his previous projector company to Barco. The P1 is specified at 2500 to 3900 lumens when fitted with an WQXGA DMD or even 2750 to 4250 when using an 1920x1200 DMD. Amazing numbers for an LED projector, 2500 in RGB mode is at least two to three times the previosu limit for a pure LED projector.
The 0.9" WQXGA 2560x1600 DMD has been used with an optical actuator to create an 4K projector by other vendors, so hopefully we will see an all LED 4K projector with p3 color...
