Stingray Now 4K. The third 4K music video channel operated by Canadian music platform operator Stingray, was announced today at the MIPCOM show in Cannes,France today. The new channel offers 4K content 24/7, catering to cable and IPTV systems operators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The new channel offers a wide palette of musical genres, ranging from Pop, Dance, Hip-hop, Indie, Latinpop, and Adult Rock. Stars to appear on Stingray Now 4K are to include Calvin Harris, Billy Talent, Ed Sheeran, Magic!, Scott Helman, and Imagine Dragons.
The operator currently operated two 4K music channels Stingray Festival 4K and Stingray Ambiance 4K. Stingray Now 4K is to be the mainstream music channel, among the trio.
Stingray's initial channel Ambiance 4K combines 4K Nature and scenic imagery with audiotrack. Stingray Festival 4K offers 4K produced rock, and pop concerts, Jazz, worldmusic, musicals and Danceshows.
