Digital Projection International will present its new Radiance series of fine pitch Direct View LED walls at the ISE tradeshow in Amsterdam next month. At its stand DPI will present the 1.5mm pixel pitch 3D capable Radiance LED, Saying its new line is available and already shipping.
DPI offers four models the Radiance LED 1.2, 1.5, 1.9 and 2.5. The new Black SMD LED range offers up to 1,000 nits of brightness, a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a 120Hz refresh rate, according to the vendor. The higher brightness probably reserved for the coarser pitches, like with the Delta's, Delta claiming upto 800 nits for the finest pitches. DPI says the wall have a lifetime rated at 50,000 hours. They are rated for 24/7 use and according to DPI offer a broad dynamic range and high colour bit-depth. Though it does not specify these qualities, so we will have to see how it handles near black and high intra image contrast imagery at the show.
Digital Projection’s new Radiance LED is built on a native 16:9 aspect ratio and is therefore able to achieve full HD 1080p imagery and Ultra-HD 4K.
With its Radiance line DPI offers the exact pitches, and therefore screensizes as its 'Significant Shareholder' Delta Electronics, but it adds 120Hz and 3D capabilities.
Digital Projection also offers its Concierge Service to complement every Radiance LED deployment 'by offering customers assistance from initial concept and engineering assessment to final installation and calibration'.
Chris Axford, International Sales & Marketing Director from Digital Projection, is looking forward to ISE: “We’re excited to be celebrating a decade of presence at ISE with two fantastic new product launches to enhance and expand our already successful range. The INSIGHT Dual Laser 8K demonstrates our continued commitment to innovation in the solid-state laser projection space – setting an industry standard once again, while the Radiance LED video wall solution uses our expertise in display solutions and channels it into new technologies. We welcome current and new customers along to see these innovative additions for themselves at what is set to be our biggest and best ISE yet”.
Digital Projection’s fine-pitch LED wall solutions display bright and vivid imagery thanks to a broad dynamic range and high colour bit-depth. They also provide a wide 160-degree viewing angle for maximum visibility and a fan-less panel design for silent operation. Radiance LED walls are also rated for 24/7 operation and can be configured with power and signal redundancy for mission critical applications.
