Portugese Fiber Operator MEO will be airing the RTP1 4K channel with its full 4K coverage of the Football World Cup, starting in Russia tommorow. The Altice owned operator is the country's largest telco. It has secured satellite distribution of the 4K HDR version to feed into its system with Spanish satellite operator Hispasat. The operator does not carry all 64 games in 4K HDR, just the games of the Portugese national team, plus three games in round two, three out of four quarter final games, both semi-finals and the final game on July 15 in Moscow.
