HDFury has released an firmware update for its HDFury 4 adding HDR to SDR conversion to display HDR content on non-HDR displays. It also updated this convertor/processor to include the HDR-SDR conversion functionallity directly from the factory. Relabelling it as HDFury 4X. The model was initially released in 2012 as the 3DFury, offering 3D to 2D conversion, receiving a firmware update to act as a scaler back in 2015.
