    Wowza Media Systems will demonstrate sub-three-second global streaming delivery through its Wowza Streaming Cloud service. The streaming technology vendor's focus for the International Broadcasting Convention (Sept. 14-19, Amsterdam) lies with demonstrating the power of the Ultra Low Latency service. In addition it will also will unveil several updates to its Wowza Streaming Engine software, as well as advancements to the Wowza ClearCaster appliance.

    The Wowza Streaming Cloud with Ultra Low Latency is deployed on top of Microsoft Azure, and presents an API-based platform for creating live video experiences for massive audiences anywhere in the world.

    The new service supports ultra low latency streaming on both mobile and web applications through the Wowza GoCoder app and SDK, as well as the HTML5-based Wowza Player.

    Wowza says the service is already in use by customers.
