Atlona launches 12 Bits 4K@60P Dolby Vision HDR transport over IP

Atlona extracts the metadata from the (dual stream) Dolby Vision signal and then compresses the 18 Gigabit/s video signal to allow for carriage over gigabit/s ethernet networks. The DV support is available on new and existing OmniStream video over IP distribution equipment, the OmniStream PRO and R-TYPE AV decoders for commercial and residential applications, via a software update. The Omnistream AV over IP system  supports UHD p60, HDR10, HLG and full Dolby Vision at 12 Bits and 60 frames per second.
