Optoma started as Coretronic the largest ODM/OEM DLP projector manufacturer's customer facing brand and sales entity, but has expanded to become a full visual solutions vendor.Last year at ISE it launched its first direct view LED displays, this year these will be joined by the new Interactive Flat Panel Displays, for collaboration applications. And of course there still are the projectors. With a mapping and blending demo using the new ZK1050 4K UHD DuraCore laser projector. As per usual Optoma will have a couple of 'gaming' demo's for audience participation using its projectors.
Partnering with VIOSO, Optoma is to showcase a large five metre blend with four new ZK1050 4K UHD projectors. This projector featuring MCL technology (Multi Colour Laser), or Red laser diodes in addition to regular blue laser diodes, is the latest addition to the DuraCore range, which combines a longer-lifetime light source and an independent IP rated dust certification.
VIOSO also offers projection mapping and warping, but the second demo using the new 10000 lumens projector is using HeavyM projection mapping software to highlight the possibilities provided by projection mapping.
The ZU1050 is also used for the ValoJump interactive and immersive trampolining experience, created by Valo Motion.
In collaboration with Scan Computers Optoma will demonstrate two 4K UHD professional projectors, the ZK750 DuraCore laser and 4K550ST with a short throw lens.
Visitors to the stand can test their gaming credentials, playing Battlefield 5 on one of five PC’s, with one 4K machine showing off the latest ‘Ray Tracing’ features from its NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti graphics card.
The new ZK750 is Optoma’s first 4K UHD DuraCore laser projector with multiple lens options. It boasts a high brightness of 7000 lumens with dust resistant IP6X certification.
In a fully operational boardroom, Optoma will demonstrate its latest projectors and accessories for corporate applications. All three DuraCore laser projectors on display here combine a high brightness with dust resistant IP5X certification. The ZH420UST Full HD 4,000-lumen ultra short throw laser projector delivers 20,000 hours maintenance-free laser light source at full brightness. The ZH506 Full HD 5,000-lumen laser projector delivers 30,000 hours maintenance-free laser light source at full brightness and features vertical lens shift for easy installation. While the Full HD ZH550T 5500-lumen laser projector delivers 30,000 hours maintenance-free laser light source at full brightness and offers versatile orientation including 360° projection. All combined with the new DC455 document camera. Boasting an output resolution of up to 4K UHD, a 13-megapixel camera and 8x optical zoom.

Optoma is launching the new QUAD series all-in-one LED display. For the first time, Optoma will demonstrate the FHDQ130. The 130” (2.88 x 1.62m) Full HD LED display is an all-in-one solution for a quick and easy out-of-the-box installation.
The QUAD series 4-in-1 SMD pixel format creates a smoother screen surface, wide viewing angle and a more robust design. Boasting an eco-friendly <0.5W standby mode, that conforms with ErP regulations, power consumption is reduced to save energy costs.
According to Optoma a 'hugely simplified assembly process significantly reduces the installation time required - from days to hours - to dramatically reduce the total project cost'. However the project video above shows it still takes two-and-a-half days.
The integrated HQUltra and media player technology eliminates the need for any additional devices associated with traditional LED solutions.
At the show, Optoma will demonstrate two of its fully optimised Full HD 1080p LED display solutions - 180” 2.0mm pixel pitch (FHD20422) and 136" 1.5mm fine pixel pitch (FHD153169).
Designed, supplied and supported as a single solution, they include everything from cables to preconfigured processors. This ensures a hassle-free set-up for a truly seamless installation. They can be mounted directly onto a suitable wall without a mounting frame, which combined with front access, gives fast, low-cost installation and easy maintenance.
Optoma will also display its complete range of LED display panels - THD series. Available in 1.5mm to 3.9mm pixel pitch, they can be configured to meet any display need, allowing complete flexibility in resolution and screen size.
