    Christie Unveils New Lower-Cost RGB RealLaser Projector for Smaller Cinema Screens

    Christie® is showcasing its newest addition to the CineLife™ Series – the Christie CP2309-RGB projector featuring RealLaser™ illumination technology at CineEurope 2019 in Barcelona June 17-20. Also debuting is the Christie Vive Audio LA3i loudspeaker and previews of Christie’s CP4450-RGB demonstrating its technology capabilities for the PLF spectrum cinema.

    The second of the 2K models, previewed, pre-announced, last year 2K models. It follows the initial 15K lumens model.

    No further information yet about the CP4450, the PLF market projector with two laser sources, mentioned in the press release. Except for the brief introductory video below. That indicates the new Cinema Processing platform is based on the Mirage platform, used in the 120P 4K demo's the past few years.

    From Infocomm there is more Christie news for the High-end Home Theater market in the Mirage SST with external RGB Laser source for silent operation. Being designed for tight spaces, silent operation could do away with tigh spaces, as it should enable in-room projector placement.
