The 2019 E9, C9 en B9 series will receive an automatic firmware update before the end of the year. US owners will be served first. A manual update will also be available.
Nvidia G-Sync capable video graphics cards are limited to HDMI 2.0b, so 4K is limited to 60 frames per second, for 120P the spatial resolution is limited to 1440P. In 1440P the input lag is said to be 6 milliseconds, and 13 milliseconds for 4K.
G-Sync is to remedy tearing and stuttering when showing pc content, i.e. games that use variable framerates. LG OLED TVs do support competing VESA Adaptive Sync that does support HDMI 2.1s and its higher datarates, that allow for 120P 4K.
