For those cinemas with a Sony SRX-320 or SRX-515 Sony is now shipping its newest & latest generation uniformity and gamma cameras, no PC needed.
The PCAB-U mounts to a tripod near the projector facing the screen and connects to the projector via RS-232. You can see the screen on the cameras rear LED screen making sure the image is centered. The camera has its own touch screen & with the push of a few buttons it controls the projector and test patterns providing an automated uniformity process that takes approximately 20 minutes. End results are excellent.

The PCAB-G is used to calibrate the projectors Gamma. It should be used before running the uniformity process. It mounts to the projector with a magnetic mount and comes with a control box. Like the PCAB-U the G connects to the projector via RS232. No PC is needed. Running the device is very simple with excellent results.
