  • LED WALL GEN. ONE PARTIAL 4K - CINERAMAX IMMERSIVE OVERLOOK PENTHOUSE

We have selected the Samsung HDR IF015H tile for our market launch of this concept.

ATOP THE MOST SPECTACULAR JAMESBONDEAN PH IN SAN DIEGO.

but before we proceed with the LED Walls, I need to welcome to hell 98% of the people so badly engineering their home theaters, but also the more egregious MIX ROOMS. There is no reason to accept the lowest common denominator in sound quality the 130 year old compression driver  piece of crap that should all be dumped in the Pacific Ocean. California is the culprit for this mass infestation of poor quality, it is a good ole boys of stingy studios buying crappy speakers from California companies, Even Dolby thinks that while their Burbank Atmos labs is the best envelopment in the world, even Andrew Poulain says there is nothing wrong with the crunchy fatiguing torture that their B-Chain tortures the otherwise reference venue's visitors with. Re recording engineers proudly celebrating their latest horrible horn based crap. THIS IS NOTHING BUT AN OUT OF CONTROL PATHETIC CASE OF IN BREEDING. The race to the minimum common denominator stops right here , right now.

I THOUGHT IT FITTING TO PLAY AS A WELCOME TO HELL OVERTURE THE OFFICIAL IN-BREEDING ANTHEM:

Are you totally deranged? Can't you see you are doing everything wrong? I will show you in this thread by example, may you be sufficiently intelligent to save your own ass that is on fire.

Same Samsung Premier DCi platform characteristics? So HDR controller, grey control and wider color gamut than digital signage version? And secure DCi server integration if required?

The panels are the same with all the best and whistles, the controller for cinema does not do partial tile arrays, the solution i have engineered thus far works but...panels are 14 bit after hdr10+ the display controller is 10 bit-bottleneck .

          https://youtu.be/VgVIBZObLn0

The ability to preserve the views in condominiums really makes projections a retarded idea.

Also interesting is that glass lets the bass frequencies fly out of the room.

Cardioid Subwoofer is the Only one Invention (originally from East Germany) can solve this problem in condominiums and they must be shot from many angles to the mlp.
Below we have accommodated many of them, some still need gaps to the sides and back in order for the cancellations to work, the beauty of it the back waves work through solid glass. So ideal for condominiums. Another example of directinal bass.

You can see below the image marked on blue tape at the time last weekend it was 31" off the ground , to avoid a focal point with the center channel for the people in the front sofa i lowered it to 28".

We also have a roto-zilla subwoofer for use only in the afternoons.

The original theater design by a standard smart home integrator had focal points next to mlp, had paid attention to auro instead of atmos, had done a poor job spacing the atmos, and proposed speakers with a 60 degree dispersion at 17 feet, in other word Far Field speakers. On Video he had specified a horrible color wheel blue laser LOKI, one of the worst images I have ever seen with a STEWART screen. As I said ,10 days ago I started the Rescue Operation From Hell.

Home Theater will now elevate to a bold new hyper-immersive plateau. If you want something to be right you have to do it yourself.

Ill start by laying some nono's, farfield speakers for morons, omnidirectional anything being a subwoofer or a projection screen is an idea i strongly condemn. Led wall don't shoot light directly to the sides like a unity gain projection screen , these displays create their own shadowbox zone, as it should be , we need directional light, directional surrounds and overheads, and directional bass. It has taken me this long to realize that the entire industry is in a complete state of moronica.

            THIS IS A RESCUE OPERATION!

            https://youtu.be/kgtT-nTLCpk

When I flew from the Moscow Penthouse into the Gravity Premiere I heard atmos going around my head and through my gut, because the overheads were positioned on a 4 seater exclusion box.

At home you can only achieve that with three seats,

When we had a marantz pre and a marantz receiver belonging to a client and we had the 8 tops positioned EXACTLY AS DAMASKE WAGENER, this humble Holiday Inn Express 4th flooR Penthouse  recreated and surpassed the most immersive installations I have ever heard. My Own Client Taker was the first to point out how amazing the setup was...

            https://youtu.be/MXxlY4FbTLs

Then this celebrity home builder came by and was totally blown away, this pic after his second visit.

Then after 9 months criticizing my ideas , even directly to Taker in a Vegas dinner for which I arrived late, THX Professor and USA Master Trinnov calibrator agreed with 80% of the value through breaking a list of 18 rules. Universal Rules are for Lackeys, Context is For Kings!

            https://youtu.be/yl4dLb4wBKI

So we decided that home theaters are a really stupid idea if you have 4 seats or more, what a cretinous concept to spend all that money and then get COMPLETE UTTER SHIT.

So this is the correct way to watch movies at home. By hook or by crook we are going to save the world and get rich doing it.

40 tiles makes it 1.87 aspect ratio, that sucks, every single CIOPH has to be 2-1 UNIVISIUM the unified universal aspect ratio that works so well with 1.77 and 2.39 where it just clips off elbows and asses on every film shot since the 80's 2-1 is the most engulfing of all formats and people should be egged for not using it.

Star Trek Discovery the finest of all series and movies ever made in the franchise is shot and shown in 2.0 here every sunday, it rocks. CIOPH's are designed strictly for 2.0 presentation.

3 TIMES 7 21 TILES, OR 36 TILES ARE THE OPTIONS FOR THE DESIRED SIZED NEAR MID FIELD ROOMS.

Peter do you use Trinnov, or a custom processor or the Harmon/Samsung solution to lower, or center in case of side speakers, the perceived audio emmination, making it come from the screen? Chris Chinnock writes the Harmon processing works. A clear rebuttal of all the 'it needs holes for the speakers' remarks. I'll leave the qualification 'naysayers' to you;-).

How strict will the cookie cutter model be, can one go with a Panasonic/Sony/LG 77" OLED or Sony ZD9 75/100" instead of the TCL 85" XESS X6? I see the value in sticking with a single LED vendor. As you already have the Micro LED alternative as the super premium option.

Re the flexibilty for the next 2-3 years OLED is out.

I REALLY REALLY LIKE THE 599 ROKU TV, it is disruptive as fuck!

So if TCL can do that for 599, im dying to see what they will do with 12,999. Not worth the sony. But I will be flexible depending on space.

NO LONGER OLED fan as i just care about HDR, have 20,000 in 3d blu rays, what a waste. Also d-box anything moving me 1/3 of an inch to distract me from the full hdr head grab is a nuissance.

                      NEVER SAY NEVER.

And OLED is not HDR king, with deepest blacks, and no halo effects?

                        Sony 75" would save that 20K in 3D blu-rays:

                        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UECcjZrRtWA

That is still 4 times the least expensive 75" TCL, that in the US costs 2K, though that is the C serie not the premium series. And the 75C807 is edge-lit. BTW the 85" is not Roku enabled according to this article: https://www.yahoo.com/news/tcl-now-sells-wall-devouring-131556591.html.

The latest Roku Version 8 adds voice control, so one doesn't need Google, Amazon, Samsung,or Apple for that anymore either.

THAT THE 85" IS NOT GOING TO BE ROKU TV/?Are they nuts? I'll assemble a national revolt to torch TCL headquarters if that is the case . ROKU TV is one of the best 5 things that have happened in my life, way better than flying on a bombardier GLOBAL 8000 eating the most extinct of caviars.

Believe me the 85" will have ROKU TV. They can dispense with their interesting sound system instead. We all have our own.

I WOULD NOT BE POSTING HERE IF IT WASN'T FOR THE BEST COMPUTER MONITOR EVER MADE.Nasa should fill their giant walls with TCL 85" and call it a day, it would save astronauts lives !!!

So my regional Zone Manager is in charge of both the is015h and the cinema screens which is great, he is a well established name in the Industry for years. Also I'm in with engineering support.

PARTIAL ZONES IS DEFINITELY IN. NOT FOR CINEMA as controller is DCI certified, but i will explore and undertake the right expedition to see.

It is conceivable that the cinema controller could be used with a Dolby IMS-3000 which theoretically although politically complicated could play Dolby Vision on the samsung, i will dig with both Dolby and my new contact at Samsung at Showeast.

There is a .9mm in the works, that will bust the doors open for the home world, it is not in the radar for 2018 though. We will design all our setups with partial 4k using if015h to be upgraded mechanical and electrical to IF009H at some future point.

When I was talking to the tech engineer, he said the partial 4k will work but it is not true 4k, I said it does not matter a partial 4k image is HDR. HDR is so powerful it trumps everything, 3D specially for me, it looks 3D, I watched last night ET 4k hdr in kaleidescape , a movie whose previous transfers were all dim, making them difficult to watch. The same for Close Encounters which is the ideal wcg film in the third act.

E.T. was a gloriously EPIC morning watching the HDR version, it is so much more involving. I look forward to more classic movies getting the same treatment, indiana jones, return of the jedi, lawrence of arabia/mutiny on the bounty, 007, north by northwest and other Hitchcock Vistavision.

Battle of the bulge 70mm transfer..uhm!

Only hdr has that XENOMORPH FACE GRABBER EFFECT it latches on to your pupils and never let's go, but you need an LED WALL to get the right size and specular highlights combination. Projection is soooo dead it is not even funny.

People are really really dumb to think when they first see the wall: "OH where am I going to put the center channel?"

There are so many great ways to create a better sounding center, I perfected this is over 70 media spaces between 1987 and 2008. That and the discovery at the Holiday Inn express Lab is why I say. Universal Rules are For Lackeys and context is for Kings. That is a line from the last episode of Star Trek Discovery the greatest show in the franchise and shot in 2.0 UNIVISIUM.
