    That Barco LCD wall at the Amsterdam Digital Media Center had huge bezels, as if they used regular Barco monitors, but I never saw the Barco narrow bezel, 1.5mm-ish is currently state-of-the-art, but that 3.5mm was back in 2014. Usually they have one third on the one side, and two-thirds on the other.

    There is no such thing as no bezel, not even with LPD (Prysm's Laser Phosphor Displays) cubes. And a gap might be even worse, in some circumstances (backlight for instance).

    I read the news story, and there is no mention of the gap size anywhere, not even in the linked brochure.

      Panasonic says it has a two settings magnetic mounting system, but can't find further info.
