  • TCL shows mini-led 'Cinema Wall' 132" modular emmissive concept display

And TCL doesn't just use mini leds in the back light unit, grouped in to zones of 40 LEDS, but also showed a concept video wall using minileds. Emmissive, modular pixel based control, as we know from traditional LED walls.

Consistent with all of the other Chinese led screens, not videophile grade.

Well how about the Koreans? LG just emailed me about an integrated all-in-one bezelled 130" LED. This is not micro-led, but the resular SMD LG has been selling/improving over the past few years.

Full integration,is the chosen route to commoditisation, larger market penetration.

130" Large Screen with No Bezel
The greatest advantage of LG's LED screen is the 130-inch large-sized screen with no bezel. Even bigger than four 55-inch conventional LCD displays combined, it displays content without lines or distortions and provides a more immersive visual experience.<\q>

What makes it special is the integrated sound in the screen itself:

      The Most Effective Audiovisual Effects
      Immersive Surface Sound
The 130" All-in-one LED Screen doesn't require any additional speakers for its impactful audio effect. Its embedded Surface Sound comes from the entire screen with 162W (4.5W x 36points) and is able to reach all meeting attendees, including people seated far from the screen.<\q>
