      I totally agree.

You should get a sample of the reald ultimate screen. Not having the light going sideways to the walls, you may have velvet but i still see the light shining.

The barco thos hc with the reald ultimate screen is the best projected image on the planet i have seen, better than dolby vision. Event The expert's viewers club agreed last Cinemacon. 1,000cr separation in 3d, but great for hdr. The screen looks whiter than a white screen when any light hits it.

        Peter

I left AVS Forum after over 15 years I support this Forum with many good information’s
many people like to read because of you always come into my treads and run them with your posts and ton of pictures.
This was not an easy decision for me as I have there a lot of readers that like what I did and I start here new almost 1.5 years ago.

So now after you cannot post anymore at AVS I see you here in this forum posting again but till today not in this thread.

Now after some time you made the first post in my main thread about the Barco Thor.
This post sounds nice but for how long this will continue this way before you start to act like you did in the past at AVS Forum?
Why I should believe you are now a different person after 1.5 years ?
I hope for you that you doing fine and it is not personal issue but a de ja vue for me.

The work flow at disney is semi automatic using dolby tools, the master is Dolby Cinema but the end product is heavily the result of an automated workflow. In audio and video.

This is still the best projector out there. I will post a summary about the new Barco 3p 4 series which will be the best engineered from the ground up projector in terms of smarts, but 6p still rules. What is interesting for the thor is that it could get augmented with a second light steering unit for specular highlights. The Barco light steering technology will come both self contained with 2 light engines, and as an add on to the 4 series but hopefully also the Thor.

That is a very useful test pattern. You cannot dispute the difference between the two, the picture tells the true story. Good work.
