          Updated to reflect 2 x 12-4 cables per z16, woofers appear bi-wired.

Peter, are those Z16s available in a vertically squashed form, with the bass drivers moved out and the mid/tweet down somewhat? I recall Quested did this for some LT20s you showed either here or on AVS (I can look for the link when I have a moment if needed).

Yes that is extra 10% if I recall correctly. But creating a horizontal d'appolito config like that will work on 66% of the situations, where MLP kill zone is small as the horizontal dispersion is reduced a bit. if you have too many seats ... when you have your layout ready I can review.

As you can see (same floor plan in picture with Dolby)we got a very enthusiastic go ahead from Brett Crockett (and his 2 Lab rats not shown) on deploying the width channels behind the screen as well as the first pair of heights channels.

For the height channels they did object to our heights being too narrow dispersion due to the d'appolito, vertically they work but for all seating positions they objected..

The speaker elevation above was quickly rendered when we were on our way to CEDIA, it showed 3 lt-10's and was supposed to show 4 lt 2-8, my bim man just plopped in the lt-20's you referred to instead.
The layout got approved assuming AMT be oriented properly on width channels, but they strongly suggested the height channels behind the screen be also lt-10's.

So the lt-28's would work mostly vertically

If you have a height restriction and are willing to custom order your 5 lcr+w's , and if you have a wide listening area then u may want to use the proposed Europa concentric speaker with the 12 inch mosntster woofer and a coaxially mounted Mundorf AMT. Something like the musikelctronisch gethain, except Roger said in his version the woofer cone would not hit the back of the mid-hi module (like he claims the meg do).

I will sketch a rough conceptual of the coaxial 12 inch quested, the box must be kept wide enough for the bass.

After we presented our case as to the impracticalities of the first draft positions, there were several conceptual collisions in the first draft, we got an enthusiastic sanctioned variance to the angles suggested by the first draft home atmos directive.

Nice conduit capable of supporting a 6 P projection system.

The left wall of the cinema with entrance doorway and rack closet. Prewired for a 36 channel system.

So thanks to the Governor of the State of Washington the honorable Jay Inslee for asking the owner Taker to finish the construction of Aegir so he can comeover and watch Dr.Zhivago, the plans to complete the Theater are now being redoubled. I told Taker we are going to need a good masking system. They are also inverstigating dropping the front 17 feet of the room down 22" to increase the screen size to MINI-PLFI max like. Amazing, right? Before:
