Wrapped up among the news about its Washing Machines, and Mobile Phones winning an innovation award from the CTA, lies the announcement that LG will also update its OLED TV line up with a second generation 4K 77" OLED. It has been awarded the 2016 CES "Best of Innovations" prize for video displays. It will be HDR capable, most likely in the LG OLED variety seen in the previously announced 55 and 65 inch version, so with deep blacks but limited peak brightness. But no further details are included not even if there will be a flat version.

. Not sure if I would care reporting about stuff if people can't even be bothered to even indicate if it is a technology demo (like the 2014 award win), or a product;-).
