    New cinema joint venture unveils its identity

    Kortrijk, Belgium, 17 April 2018 - The previously announced strategic joint venture between Barco, China Film Co. Ltd (“CFG”), Appotronics and CITICPE is proud to introduce its company branding in the run up to CinemaCon 2018.
    Cinionic logoThe new company will be called “Cinionic”. The name is a combination of cinema and ionic, defined as the “coming together of forces to create energy in the Cinema industry.”

    Its logo icon is a colorful continuous wheel which represents movement and energy. The color wheel not only represents diversity, the brand colors of the three founding partners are integrated into the array of colors.

    The new brand comes with a matching tagline: EXPERIENCES. DELIVERED. Carl Rijsbrack, Chief Marketing Officer at Cinionic, comments: “Our tagline is our commitment to customers — that they can count on Cinionic to deliver the ultimate cinema experience. It’s simple, direct, and reflects our commitment to deliver compelling audience experiences.” 


    Delivering a differentiating cinema experience
    The new company will focus on a combination of innovative cinema solutions, flexible financing and a comprehensive service model that enables exhibitors to focus on engagement with their moviegoers while simplifying their technology and operations.

We will deliver everything needed to ensure operational peace of mind while elevating the audience experience, from the latest visualization solutions to a comprehensive service care offering and affordable financing.”

    Barco will be the exclusive OEM partner for all projection and image processing technologies in the joint venture. ALPD will provide industry-leading laser technology and retrofit solutions while CGS contributes high-quality solutions for Premium Large Format (PLF) screens.

      'Who is Cinionic',  is what I thought when I saw an email titled "We're excited to meet you" from the sender "letstalk@cinionic.com", is it spam, do I need to open the source instead of the full email, just to be safe, but it turns out to be the new Barco China Film, Appotronic and so on joint venture.

            They have had that beer bar for forever, even before the split( in Barco and BarcoNET), when Barco still made CRT (grade B?) reference monitors, and cable head-end/broadcast monitoring system ROSA.  Every new entity continues the Barco tradition.

            What is the name of the instagram account? I guess Instagram=facebook does not offer auto push through to twitter.
