It is a well-known fact that in sound-reflective modern living spaces with Marble and Glass sound echoes reduce the quality of our well being.

Because in this age of shelter in place fitting a wall screen in our main living space is now considered an indispensable home accouterment as critical as art and fine furniture, something had to be done about the reflections.

I give you BASWAPHON, SOUND ABSORBING PLASTER.

Here you can see it being applied on the inside of the Zaha Hadid inspired multi mechanical soffit so the sounds that break up in the overhead diffusive immersion canopy get absorbed on the plaster.[/size]

This post showing the progress of my experience with systems dealing with hard large solid screens was posted in the other forum but deleted. I do have copyright permission to post. It shows also a preference for high contrast dynamic images that bespoke rear projection gave in the nineties and early 2,000's for individuals I showed both technologies (rearPro vs front pro).

The last images below show the largest rear projection setup that I did and had the tilted screen for visual keystone elimination plus acoustically eliminating slap echoes, by moving the speakers into the room forward of the screen even though using one center channel the sound-staging was superb, so one of the secrets for video-wall audio is what I call a deconstructionist approach that moves the speakers into a midfield array surrounding the viewer but away from the walls.

Here is a working progress GANTT CHART for the construction. Still missing the audio system installation which will be accommodated into the plan in a couple of weeks.

It does give you a perspective on the amazing work the builder is doing and the complexity of this design.

Not Directly in the Wallscreen Lounge but part of the Bar Observatorium outside of it. A lovely ceiling lilypod sculpture shows the level of refined setting that the cinema will too be.

Looks like things are progressing nicely. At first the room did not look all that big but seeing the techs working in the room gives perspective the size of the room, not so small after-all, good work.

                            Thank you Mr.Pix.

This scaled isometric drawing is when i first realized the generousness of the space.

And take a look at the bottom image, aesthetically it is adhering to the maritime motif. No?

The same mirror images to the top of the C-LED. These are enclosures for these speakers at the bottom.

Rear Rack is fully populated now. The other 7 surround speaker columns are set to be installed in a couple of weeks.

                              Lovely upon close inspection.

Because we run the xlr cables on the back of the rack to the right where there is a vertical lacing bar then up and back in to the left, and with so many cables we tried to make them as short as possible.

the bottom image goes between the Main DSP Dante amps which are class D for the LF, but those same amps have the crossover to be output to the class A/B for the tweeters. The bottom diagram quad amps are only for the in column heights, DTS-X PRO/Auro they are not as sophisticated as the class A/B Main Stereo amps (also only for HF) but these have mosfet output stages to emulate class A. For a more tubelike sound on the highs. I don't think this level of bi-amplification has been implemented before. Overkill?
