The seating platform Gondola aspect's craftsmanship aims to create a sense of adventurous propulsion as you walk in and take your seat. The hi craftsmanship adds to the luxurious details surrounding the spectator, you are immersed Audio visually and in luxury.

85% of the details as in the standing platform carpet inlay and hardwood steps and shapes were conceived by me, first photoshopped and then in 3D archicad, to see the final crafted assembly so faithful to ones original thought is a pride inducing sensation that cannot easily be expressed in words, hugely satisfactory. Who knew I was such a sleek architect?

You may be asking yourself why would anyone in their right mind create from scratch so many Quested and Musikelektronisch Geithain (east German) custom speakers and beam distance target adjustable cardioid subwoofers?

Well it could not all work as predicted but there is a very deliberate risk reward calculation that went into each specific model's design (high level input from Dolby and DTS included). I have done several Quested systems since 2012, 2 in Europe and 4 in the USA using different sized AMT's and Woofer vendor variants, properly aimed, boundary decoupled, and suitably room treated (for off axis spread) the AMT based loudspeakers, using a driver commonly used in some of the finest sound systems and 2 channel audiophile speakers like the Gobel 85k a pair; sonically with the latest AMT's the sound can double as Alcons which would have been used if they could create so many custom shapes but they don't do custom, The dsp power in the dante Quested amplifiers used only for the LF is extensive, capable of including bespoke FIR filters for each driver in addition to full crossover flexibility, the system feeds some extreme high quality class a/b studio amps that have a Mosfet output stage to give the AMT's a class A sound signature.

These are the amps we used in the Moscow PH that sounded tube-like.Suffice is to say that I am confident the great majority of these speakers should sound glorious after some hard work. They better work because this will be the very last time I undertake such torturous 2.5 year development effort with custom speaker design.

The images on the display are the actual image as produced by the Sony CLED display, not a trick phoyograph as seen on normal TV and projection screen depictions.

Pity the curtains are still reflected in the picture, does the new generation of CLED perform better in this respect? This one, as shown, already does compared to the absolute mirror of Gen. 1.

Yeah but reflection not seen from the seats, The new SONY "improves" in that regard, however that little shine has it's own set of perceptive visual elements the may look more in your face in a good way.

Not yet, but it is very solid I hear.

I have not made the trek there yet. Maybe in a couple of months, but I have been walking through the client, who is a tech wizard, he feels the system is really close now to it's full potential, loves it, every weekend we conduct experiments, having the audio network controlled by the Dad ax-32 really places the system at another level of control and flexibility.

In this post my client states that he decided to array all the channels FOR ATMOS on the front columns that otherwise would comprise 3 dts-x layers https://www.avsforum.com/threads/son.../post-60730017

His comment leaves the impression that the client is sacrificing the front heights in Atmos mode. I will over the next couple of posts highlight exactly how and which tops and heights are used in ATMOS, as all 10 are used.
